Ambassador of Romania Visits LBTU to Explore Opportunities for Cooperation
On May 19, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) had the honor of welcoming His Excellency Prof. Sergiu Nistor, Ambassador of Romania to Latvia, for a constructive and forward-looking visit focused on strengthening international collaboration.
During the meeting, discussions centered on shared interests and promising opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and innovation. Ambassador Nistor expressed his support for fostering connections between LBTU and Romanian universities and has kindly offered assistance in establishing institutional partnerships.
This meeting was attended by LBTU Rector Prof. Irina Arhipova, Head of the International Cooperation Centre Mārtiņš Sabovičs, and External Relations Coordinator Viktorija Kristopane.
As a next step, we look forward to hosting a delegation of university rectors from Romania in the near future, continuing the momentum toward meaningful academic exchange and collaboration.
