Certificate "Investors in Excellence"

On January 17, 2017, the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) was, for the first time, recognized as compliant with the international standard Investors in Excellence. LBTU's quality management system has since undergone repeated evaluation and recertification in 2018, 2020, and 2022. At the end of 2024, LBTU once again received the Investors in Excellence certificate, valid until December 2026.

The Investors in Excellence standard integrates best practices aimed at promoting organizational improvement, development, and sustainable growth in areas important to the organization's clients, employees, and stakeholders. The Investors in Excellence framework supports flexible development and goal achievement by adhering to the principles of excellence: leadership, customer focus, performance monitoring, process identification and improvement, evidence-based decision-making, employee engagement, stakeholder collaboration, root cause analysis, continuous improvement, accountability, and integrity. The standard is used by organizations in Latvia, the United Kingdom, and worldwide.
