LBTU Receives "Best Practice University" Certificate for High Standards in International Education

Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) has been recognized as one of 16 higher education institutions in Latvia to receive the Study in Latvia "Best Practice University" certificate. This certificate confirms that the university meets the criteria set by the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of the Interior, ensuring responsible admission of international students and a high-quality study process.

By signing the agreement, LBTU confirms its commitment to further raising the international profile of Latvian higher education, while continuing to enhance the quality and competitiveness of its study programs. In return, government institutions provide the necessary support for the development of higher education, the delivery of consular services, the promotion of Latvia abroad, and clear guidelines on migration and entry procedures.

The university consistently upholds principles of integrity, ethical conduct, and transparent communication in its engagement with international students. LBTU's programs are delivered by highly qualified faculty with strong foreign language skills, and clear policies are in place regarding attendance, absences, and academic dismissal.
