1st International Week 2026 at LBTU
Only 10 days remain until the 1st LBTU International Week 2026!
We are looking forward to welcoming colleagues from our partner universities to Jelgava for a week of knowledge sharing, international collaboration, and new opportunities.
The Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LBTU) is pleased to announce its 1st International Week 2026, which will take place from 28 September to 2 October 2026 in Jelgava, Latvia.
Under the theme "Knowledge Beyond Borders: Education, Science and Innovation for the Future," the event will bring together academic staff, international relations professionals, and representatives from partner universities to strengthen international cooperation, exchange best practices, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in higher education, research, and Erasmus+ mobility.
Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver lectures and seminars for LBTU students;
- Present their home institution during the Study Abroad Fair;
- Network with colleagues from partner universities;
- Discuss future cooperation projects, research opportunities, and Erasmus+ initiatives.
As this is the first International Week organised by LBTU, the event aims to establish a strong platform for long-term international collaboration while showcasing the university, its academic environment, and the city of Jelgava.
Participation is limited to 30 participants, with a maximum of 5–6 representatives per faculty to ensure meaningful discussions and networking opportunities.
The application deadline is 15 August 2026.
