Apraksts LV: Lapu virsmas laukuma noteikšanai, ko izmanto lapu indeksa aprēķināšanai. Izmanto taisnstūra aprēķināšanas elektronisko metodi, lai izmērītu lapas laukumu. LI-3000C sastāv no divām galvenajām komponentēm – skenēšanas galva un nolasīšanas konsole. Skenējot veic lapas mērījumus, rezultātu saglabā nolasīšanas konsolē. Veic šādas funkcijas: nosaka lapas garumu, vidējo un maksimālo platumu, laukumu un kopējo laukumu. Nolasījumus var sasummēt. Tos var saglabāt konsolē un ar USB pārnest uz datora Windows programmu, kā arī var veikt tiešos mērījumus. Papildus var izmantot lapu mērīšanas automātisko konveijeru.
