Apraksts LV: Dastmērs “Masser Excaliper II” — ierīce augošu koku vai sagatavotu sortimentu caurmēra mērīšanai. Dastmērs sastāv no mērlineāla, kam vienā galā 90° leņķī piestiprināts nekustīgais tveris, bet otrs — kustīgais tveris ar displeja ekrānu brīvi slīd pa magnētisko lineālu. Uzmērītais caurmērs parādās displeja ekrānā. Tveru garums ir lielāks par pusi no mērījamo koku vai apaļo kokmateriālu caurmēru. Masser Excaliper II ir liela programmatūras bibliotēka ar daudzām lietojumprogrammām, ar kuru palīdzību iespējams veikt: • meža inventarizāciju; • apaļo kokmateriālu individuālo uzmērīšanu; • neatkarīgo trešo pušu kontrolmērījumus; • savietojamību ar harvestera vadības sistēmu StanForD2010; • bezvadu datu komunikāciju, izmantojot Bluetooth; • savietojamību ar Mobile Caliper App. Šobrīd uzinstalētā lietojumprogramma paredzēta apaļo kokmateriālu individuālai uzmērīšanai pēc sekciju tipa uzmērīšanas paņēmiena.
