Apllication
If you are interested in studying at LLU as an exchange student, begin to contact the international studies coordinator at your home university or department. To be admitted at LLU as an exchange student you must first be accepted as an exchange student at your home university. Exchange students apply by filling in the application form and submitting to the International Cooperation Centre.
Once you have completed the application form, please save it to your computer and print it out. Document should be confirmed by ERASMUS+ institutional and departmental coordinators and sent to us by ordinary mail. Once we have received all the forms, we will ask the Erasmus Coordinator at respective faculty to approve it, then we will send you and your University the Letter of Acceptance by post and scanned version by e-mail.
Deadline for submitting application paper online is according to prospected study period:
- 1st of July for Autumn semester;
- 1st of November for Spring semester.
Autumn semester - September 5, 2016 - December 23, 2016.
Orientation days – September 5 – 9, 2016.
Spring semester - February 2, 2017 - May 24, 2017.
Orientation days - February 2,-6, 2017.
A good standard of English is required to become an exchange student at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies because teaching involves student participation, class discussion, project work and student presentation. It means that you must have a command of English equivalent minimum to the pass grade at B2 level (cf. European Framework of Languages). We ask you and your home university to document your English skills through online application.
