Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme
Aim of the Programme
The aim is to provide both theoretical insight and hands-on experience to explore how bioregions can be created and developed. By the end of the course, students will be able to prepare research based abstract and poster proposal aimed at supporting sustainable development in rural areas across Europe.
Learning and assessment methods: self-studies, lectures, workshops, presentations, hackathon, and field trip.
Virtual component
Students present themselves and their studies in the first virtual meeting. After that, students independently conduct literature research on the theoretical aspects of bioregions and collect socio-economic data on the chosen region, which they present in the second virtual meeting.
Benefits of participating in the programme
At the end of the programme, students have created and are presenting a final presentation on the importance of bioregions for the sustainability of the European Union.

Online component: 30 March and 13 April, 2026
On-site component: 20 – 24 April, 2026
